Pointing to the need of investment to bridge the infrastructure deficit in the country, Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath today said his ministry was drawing a list of municipalities which could raise funds by issuing bonds in the capital market. “We have assigned an agency to look at which Municipal corporations are bankable…which in the short term will be able to issue municipal bonds,” he said at a workshop on water supply and sanitation here.
