Year-end tax-saving strategies, large bulk deals and fund-based buying have pushed up delivery-based volumes despite volatile market conditions ahead of the forthcoming RBI policy and earnings season. BHEL withdraws FPO due to volatile markets

State-owned power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals has withdrawn the papers for its proposed 5,000-crore follow-on public offer. Sources in the heavy industries ministry said the issue has been withdrawn because of the current volatility in the stock markets.
